1. Acceptance

By using Curlew, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

2. Description of Service

Curlew is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet. You retain full control of your private keys and funds. We do not custody, store, or have access to your assets.

3. Your Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for securing your seed phrase and private keys
• You must comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
• You use the service at your own risk

4. Third-Party Services

Curlew relies on third-party services to provide features. By using Curlew, you accept that certain features depend on these providers and their terms apply where relevant. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or conduct.

Third-party services include, but are not limited to:

• Blockchain & RPC: RPC providers for balance checks, transactions, and chain data
• Swap: Swap aggregators for quotes and execution
• Bridge: Bridge aggregators for cross-chain transfers
• Prices: Price feed providers for token prices
• Security: Token and address safety check providers
• AI: AI provider for Curlew AI chat (see Section 5)
• NFT: NFT metadata providers
• DeFi: Lending protocol data providers
• Auth & Analytics: Authentication, analytics, push notifications, subscriptions, error tracking, app updates, and dApp connection services

5. Curlew AI

Curlew AI is an informational assistant. It is not investment advice. Do your own research (DYOR).

To answer your questions, Curlew AI accesses your portfolio, wallet addresses, and transaction history. This data is sent to our AI provider to generate responses and is not used to train AI models.

6. Fiat On/Off Ramp

Buying and selling crypto with fiat is provided by third-party on/off ramp providers. Curlew only redirects you to their widgets. Their terms of service, KYC requirements, fees, and privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for their services or any issues arising from fiat transactions.

7. DApp Browser

The built-in DApp browser connects you to third-party decentralized applications. Each dApp has its own terms and privacy practices. You are responsible for understanding and accepting those terms when you interact with dApps. We are not liable for dApp actions, scams, or losses.

8. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or compatibility with any blockchain or protocol. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. We are not liable for lost funds due to user error, phishing, or third-party actions.

We rely on third-party APIs and infrastructure. Their availability and accuracy are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for failures, delays, or inaccuracies caused by blockchain networks, RPC providers, swap/bridge aggregators, price feeds, or other third-party services.

9. Prohibited Use

You may not use Curlew for illegal activities, money laundering, fraud, or any purpose that violates these terms or applicable law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the app or our channels.
